When this part of the installation is over, you will be asked if any settings and configurations from a previous installation. This, however, is only the first part of the installation and the easiest part.
The first step is downloading the installation program to Android Studio. The virtual machine will take up a lot of memory (more than 50%), so shut down all unnecessary programs first. So make sure you have those specs before you start. Note that you will need at least 3GB for the installation and another 2GB or so in RAM to make it go smoothly.
